Success Stories
Team Forging® has been deployed in corporate training, university programs, and organizational development initiatives across multiple countries.
Japan’s First Deployment: Internal Organizational Development
asonova Inc., an education company based in Osaka, became the first organization in Japan to deploy Team Forging®. While previously focused on 21st-century skills education for children, the company used the game for the first time to train its own adult staff in organizational development.
“Behavioral differences were visualized in-game, sparking constructive dialogue.”
“I felt and analyzed how my own decisions and words affect the entire team.”
“I realized the importance of experiencing things firsthand in order to teach them.”
Experience Session in Interdisciplinary Information Studies
In May 2025, Team Forging® was featured in a graduate course at the University of Tokyo — “Cultural and Human Information Studies XI: Designing Play and Learning,” led by Professor Toru Fujimoto.
Graduate students worked in teams through multiple game scenarios, experiencing communication, leadership, and decision-making processes in a virtual environment. Post-game group reflections deepened insights into individual and team behaviors.
From Individual Autonomy to Team Autonomy
In October 2025, WIT Inc. — an IT consulting and organizational development firm — conducted Team Forging® sessions (The Lotus / The Elephant). The experience catalyzed a shift from siloed individual work toward a culture of information sharing and mutual support.
“I had no idea what the goal was or what anyone else was doing. I’ve never played such an anxiety-inducing game.”
As the sessions progressed, information sharing emerged naturally and collaboration accelerated. For this elite, small-team company, the experience became a turning point in balancing individual strengths with team cohesion.
